Although you continue to blag on the couple of points you chose to address, for onlookers it's what you don't say or address that solidifies just how poor your service and workmanship was on our Mini. Hope you are getting better on your computer games in your office, this always being to the detriment of all the clients Minis stuck outside. Please don't blame COVID on you failing to fix a car in 15months either. A MINI CANT CATCH COVID! summary:- -I dropped the car to you in May 2021(you had it for 15months) - a service -you passed an MOT (more later) -you were fixing the gearbox -you said that you had the best racing cylinder head money can buy. You Fitted it. - in February 2022 (9months later) collected the car paid you over 5000 bizarrely into your personal account. Within 10mins of leaving garage the 2nd gear kept jumping out. This was the reason you had the car to fix this! -Feb 2022-you get car back AGAIN to fix the gearbox (having already just had the car for 9months). You promise I'll have the car back within 2weeks. March 2022- yes I'm chasing continually again and the pattern of excuses continue. March 2022- you say sent the gearbox to Mini Spares. I call mini spares to check and Mini spares state they've never received it from you or sold it I tell you this and you now state that it's been sent to the actual manufacturer of the gearbox. May 2022-chase you again. You tell me that an independent engineer is assessing the gearbox to prove you are correct the gearbox has a manufacturing fault. A garage called Hazelton in Fareham has the gearbox May 2022- you tell me you sent it to Hazleton many weeks ago (this not being consistent with your gearbox manufacturer having the gearbox story. I call Hazleton they state it arrived 10days before. - I ask Hazleton to confirm they are assessing the gearbox. They state that NO it's their job to fix the gearbox you put together. Hazleton were brilliant and always called me. You messed up the gearbox. - July 2022- you get the fixed gearbox back and promise the car will be ready following week. July 2022- chasing July 2022- you say I can't collect the car because of a new electrical fault. August 2022- more chasing. I finally go mad at you on the phone and tell you I've had enough and I'll get the car collected if it's not fixed by the next day. You call and say it should be finished. August 2022- I chase again and car not fixed. You tell me to get my car collected! And they need to do an ECU test. I ask you to do that and you say NO. You advise car does not even start! So you have had my car for 15months and been paid over 5,000. Non running car was collected by true Mini specialist. Read the work they had to do. They stated your work was a death trap. Missing bolts, clips and all sorts listed below. They did an MOT. How did Southcoast Minis pass it's MOT given below issues??? My kids would have been in this car with my wife. Supply and fit used front windscreen and insert. Attend to various areas requiring welding. Removing many patches that had been fitted with seam sealer and filler. Welding to, both outer sills, inner sills, front floors.
