What a treasure of a small pub, great atmosphere, roaring fire, home brewed beers. Loved it.

We booked to stay here for our anniversary in September however I had to cancel when my husband was diagnosed with bowel cancer and needed an operation on the 18th of August, when I contacted the operations management I was told that I would lose my 100 deposit even under the circumstances, I asked for the deposit to be held until we could visit in the future but was told that I would lose it unless someone else booked for the same dates, very disappointing and won't be visiting them in the future, I'll spend my money elsewhere

Nice concept. Great beer and even better location. Massive let down is the unnecessary over loud music. Completely ruins the ambience. Beautiful countryside to a back drop of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and various other genres, doesnt lend itself. Weve been many times and each time we see people turning up and leaving early as the noise ruins it for everyone. Not sure of the logic.

Fantastic place to enjoy a pint or two. Great Pizza's. Helpful staff. Great Brewery tour thank you Pete. Alpacas are wonderful what a great place to spend a weekend. ... Another great afternoon in the sunshine the Harbour Wall was spot on. If only we could have more days like this.. 5star again.
