I had had no experience of dealing with the death of a relative. Townsends were recommended to me by a friend and I would not hesitate to pass on this recommendation. They made everything as easy as possible and looked after us from start to finish. They are so kind and knowledgeable and I cannot thank them enough for arranging everything and making a sad day into a memorable one for all the right reasons, they truly are exceptional.

My Mother died 10 years ago and at the time my father used David and his company to look after her and, as he did such a thorough job, then it was only natural that we call upon David when my Father passed away suddenly last month. Davids care, attention and professionalism were absolutely second to none and we felt in very safe hands. We have had such lovely comments about my Dads service and yes, we had a major input in that but the service went very smoothly and we never once felt concerned. We cant thank David and his team enough, they made a very trying and upsetting time just a little bit less so with their support.

When you lose somebody very close to you, it's horrific. Nothing can prepare you for it but it's an inevitably of life I'm afraid. I've just lost my mum - she was called Joy. To get you through this you need the very best people around you - only hindsight has made me realise this - that's why I want to share my experience. We were so, so fortunate to have David and his team to look after us. They dealt with everything in the most sympathetic, professional yet friendly and caring way - something I am so grateful for and will be forever. They made a terrible time bearable. My lasting memories will be positive rather than negative and that's all down to David and his team.
