Would give minus stars if it was possible. I have supported this local shop for over 30 years. Keys, shoes and boots. Unfortunately a recently replaced heel ( two months ago) came loose and fell off, obviously not the greatest workmanship. They had the audacity to charge me another 18.00 for replacing the heels that had obviously not been secured properly in the first place . Abrupt, abrasive owner/occupiers that need to retire immediately as they have absolutely no loyalty in their long lasting customers. I shall never set foot in there again and I suggest that you don't either.

I always go to this menders and am always pleased with the result. I recently bought a walking stick there.

1 x pair ladies knee high (faux leather) pull on boots, soles coming apart at toe end. The job was to re glue and a general spruce up. After 9 weeks wait I was charged 17.50 for a bit of glue and a polish. Apart from the long wait that I wasn't expecting, the charge was excessive and the sole came apart in the same place where it had been glued after only 3 uses. I will not take them back and have to wait more weeks as I wanted them back before Christmas to use for the winter. Lesson learned, I'll buy my own glue and do it myself now. Disappointed.

Keys cut. Reasonable prices and done very quickly. I also have a motorcycle boot in there for fixing .. That was superbly done as well. Extended the life of those boots possibly by years.
