Pelham House Care Home

Good care home I must say. Sadly this company cost me my UK visa ststus(I was a staff). I will never forget the hurt Pelham home cost me with no help or support from the owner. They issued me an invalid Visa reference number and after it was discovered to be invalid they disowned me and all my work in the company, resulting in me having to leave the UK. I lost money, time and a big part of my life because of their negligence of standard. .i pray no person experience what I did from Pelham. Very unprofessional!!

I cannot recommend pelham highly enoughfrom the experience I had yesterday. I needed to find urgent respite for a client. When I rang pelham they were very helpful and knowledgeable and moved heaven and earth to get things organised so the client to go there that day!. What impressed me was clearly the staff had also been updated and as we walked towards the door it opened before we even had to knock so they were looking out for us and a lovely carer with a beaming smile welcomed us in. The transfer was smooth and the welcome could not have been lovelier. What a great start to what had been a very difficult day all round.

This is a lovely care home, which is well run and organised and set in a beautiful location. I have no hesitation in recommending this care home for anyone looking to be cared for.

Over the last few years I have been in Homes both for respite and long term Nursing Care and I can honestly say that Pelham House is the best by a country mile. It can be a bit daunting to go into a home that you don't know but I was immediately put at ease by the caring competent nature of the staff. Nothing was, to much trouble and the meals we're lovely. I would recommend Pelham House to anyone thinking of going into care because it began to feel like home even in the shortime I was there and that is so important for anyone going into care that they are in a place that is home and they belong.

I had the lucky opportunity to visit the care home for a ballet performance my daughter did with Julias Studio last Christmas. This was a lovely event and I was so impressed with the friendliness and genuine care the staff had for the residents. They loved the dancing and it was wonderful to see how much they enjoyed interacting with the dancers and clapping along to the music. What a lovely idea it was to get everyone in the Christmas mood!
