Therapy works best when the therapist and the patient have a balanced understanding of one another, mutual respect, interest and a healthy relationship. I found with Paul, all of the above. I felt safe and at liberty to talk openly. He provided a very safe space, one that I could return to weekly to converse and learn about my OCD without judgement. I would say Paul is extremely knowledgable about his profession, but also eager to learn and work with his patient whilst also being entertaining in his approach. This makes for a particularly good environment to learn about oneself, reflect and grow. At times we had quite a good laugh. I honestly never thought I could free of the crippling effects of OCD, but now feel more free than I have ever been, and can attribute that to 2 years of working with Paul.
