Premier Inn Folkestone (Channel Tunnel) hotel

Perfect location for the channel tunnel, rooms were clean and large. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the linen smelt lovely. A bit of noise from the bar and restaurant but that went once it had closed Plenty of free parking Genetic hotel but absolutely fine for a stopover

The reception man was very nice but. We had a meal at next door pub. Without a shadow of A doubt the worst meal I have ever eaten aside from one I might have cooked myself as a youth. Plate cold, finger prints, the food was absolutely horrible. A Burger bun that was that white tasteless stuff. A burger that was just warm and a slice of cheese that had not even begun to melt as the rest of plate was cold. A coleslaw that was spectacular in its colour, bright orange, and its taste , filthy. The chips were just warm but seems to be made out of something other than potatos. We were tired and cold and desparate to go to bed so we kept quiet as honestly the chance of redeeming the situation was nil. The serving person was very nice so much so that we did not in any way want to upset her. Do not what ever you do eat there or if you do dont be surprised if it is awful.
