Very well located. A few steps from the see, 10min from the station and the town center. The bedroom was clean, spacious with everything you need. There is also a nice lounge where you can relax with complementary tea/coffee/cakes. There is lots of options for the breakfast. The cook breakfast is made to order. The staff is friendly.

We stayed in Indigo room, which is small but has everything you need. The room was spotlessly clean and the hotel itself is a short walk to sea views and into the town centre. To get down to the beach is about 15 mins walk. Breakfast was lovely, very tasty and good quality produce. The mattress was very firm, which wasn't to our liking so neither of us had a good night's sleep. But that's just our personal preference. Parking was an issue, as it's recently changed to permit only, meaning you can only park after 8pm until 9am without getting a ticket. The Sandgate Road carpark is long stay and about 7 mins walk away. But we didn't realise this until we arrived as Trip advisor Q& A is out of date. So we spent a stressful few mins on arrival trying to find somewhere to park.
