Westward Ho! Hotel

Stayed here after we booked with the Portland hotel, got moved due to a problem with our room (upgraded to a family room at westward ho free of charge) which was very nice and spacious. Had everything we needed & was very modern too. The lady that checked us in was very nice and showed us around, nice night sleep and also close to the town. Parking was right outside and we enjoyed our stay, will visit again!

1. Very bad communication, I informed them multiple times my date of arrival, but they were still confused. 2. There is a no dedicated receptionist in the hotel. 3. Instructions were not given clear, as to where to go for breakfast, and where to drop the keys. 4. Upon asking all these questions over call, the guy who was picking the phone was very rude n annoying, and sounds bit racist as well. 5. Regarding room, the tv remote was broken so we were forced to watch one channel, we were not able to open the room window, the washroom didn't had the lock. All in all it was not a good stay, and I would not recommend going there.

It was a bit noisy, but old houses often have that in them. The guests above us had smaller children who went to bed really late . It was clean and had enough towels and drinks/coffee /tea equipped. Service was good and very nice, breakfast was adequate and there was even fresh fruit which you could take. We will definitely come again. (Original) Eigentlich nur als Zwischenstop gedacht waren wir begeistert. Zimmer war schn mit einer grandiosen Aussicht und schn ruhig gelegen. Wir hatten das groe Familienzimmer gebucht .War zwar ein bisschen hellhrig aber das haben alte Huser ja oft so an sich.Die Gste ber uns hatten kleinere Kinder die echt spt schlafen gegangen sind .Es war sauber und mit gengend Handtcher und auch Getrnken/Kaffee/Tee ausgestattet. Service war gut und sehr Nett, Frhstck ausreichend und es gab sogar frisches Obst welches man sich nehmen konnte. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal wieder kommen.
