Unfortunately in order to use this EV charger, you must have a smart phone (android or iOS) with a data contract and the vendors app installed, or be in possession of the vendors RFID card (why should you be?). This will exclude many people who either cannot use or are not willing to use an Android or apple device and be willing to share financial information over the internet. Therefore this excludes many people from using the charging facilities. What would be better is if this machine was upgraded to accept a contactless form of payment using a debit or credit card. Not everyone has or wants a smartphone!
