Social Media for Schools

I was really happy to use Social Media for Schools whilst headteacher at Phoenix Community Primary School and found their service to be brilliant. Previously I had sent too long trying to promote the ethos and values of the school through social media channels but having SMFS working with us meant it was more professional, consistent and directed in the right areas. It helped signpost parents to additional support and information, promoted our school curriculum and promoted British Values and protected characteristics in a way that was engaging and consistent. I could easily ask for specific aspects of my schools improvement plan to be focused on more and the team were always quick and responsive. I loved the fact that our social media historical output was presented in a summary report that presented areas such as attendance, British Values and curriculum. It was really comprehensive and when Ofsted visited it resulted in an easy conversation to evidence how we were more than fulfilling the aspects of the framework. However we are there to serve children and their parents and my families thought it was great and that the school was always seeing the right tone.
