I was disappointed by the level of professionalism shown by the pharmacist. They appeared to be dismissive of my situation and concerns, leaving me feeling unheard and frustrated. As someone who works in the NHS, I strongly believe that a good healthcare provider-patient relationship is based on mutual respect and communication, both of which were lacking during my appointment. When I contacted the pharmacy to report a mistake on my end, I did not expect to be lectured by someone who showed little appreciation or interest in caring for the reason for my call. This is a role that is meant to be caring and supportive, and I found the experience disrespectful. I hope that in the future, the pharmacist can improve their bedside manner and provide a more positive experience for their patients.

I have been incredibly patient (no pun intended) over the years, despite getting an appointment proving nigh on impossible for years now, not just with national pressures. Could go through a huge list of what's happened, but here's the straw that broke the camel's back-- telephone appointments. At first, I thought great, at least everybody gets a chance to be considered. How wrong I was. First time waiting for phone appointment- I was forgotten about and wasn't called for 10 days after chasing thrice. This time round? Looks like the same pattern is emerging. I haven't got 10 days to wait, I work so when I'm told I'll get a call on a specific day its not unreasonable to expect one. So not only have I repeatedly sacrificed my health over the years (and ended up hospitalised) because I simply know I'm not getting an appointment, a system designed to fix this can't be done properly either. And here's the thing- it's hard to see where the issue stems from.

Sun Lane Surgery I have been with since moved to Hythe which is about 8 years I think. In that time I have had a serious illness requiring me to be hospitalised and in ITU and a ward for near 2 months. Since then the surgery have been great with me and my care. I also had an accident when iwas hit by a motorcycle. I have been on various forms of medication and have rung at short notice and my needs have always been catered for. I am glad I chose to join Sun Lane Surgery. Thank you all for the help I have received and no doubt I will do in the future.

It would seem like there is limited interest of the doctors to try to assess people, my father was released into doctors care from hospital, just needed check ups, needless to say, no care, he unfortunately passed away shortly after, hospital said with monitoring and early action he would still be with us. I only update this now with more clarity as from the other reviews a pattern seems to have formed which others should consider before choosing a surgery. The NHS is a great service that any Brit should be proud to have but unfortunately let down by a few.
