Just purchased a mens zip up woollen jumper/cardigan. Absolute bargain. Lady in the shop was very helpful and polite. First time I've used them as I rarely visit Hythe during shop opening times but I will make the effort next time for sure. 10/10.

Do not be discouraged.... When needing to return a recent purchase the staff were extremely aggressive and unhelpful just labored their no money back refund policy. Very unpleasant. BUT.... I returned another day and spoke to the owner who was most affable and extremely helpful giving me a full refund. Venessa went on to tell me about the APRO scheme she offers which gives the opportunity to try before you buy. Thank you Venessa.

My friend told me about this experience. Her English is broken so I am writing a review on her behalf. I don't normally leave Google reviews but I really regret not being there to support her. This company is arguably a scam and has extremely bad customer service. Went in for a tablecloth for the coffee table, gave the staff measurements, and they picked out a tablecloth which was supposed to fit. Bought it for 22.90 and it was too small. Was told I could NOT return it because "the tablecloth labelled no returns". When challenging this, the staff proceeded to get extremely aggressive and even threatened to call the police. Even tried to settle for an exchange product, offering to pay any extra money, but did not even allow this Chased the customer out of the shop for no good reason too. Extremely appalling. May I remind you that refusing a refund when the product has NOT been used, and is NOT fit for purpose, and was purchased wrong due to faults of the EMPLOYER, is a violation of basic consumer rights laws. Also, being open for 300 years does not excuse this behaviour at all, so I don't want to hear it.
