The church inner style and decoration reflect this association: it is much more elegant than could be expected from a small fishermen town such that Folkestone used to be.
The church is popular for weddings and concerts (its restored organ in one of the best in the Southeast England).
And it has a lovely community of regular congregation who participate in choir, hold art fairs and always share tea and cake after Sunday morning service.
