I contacted Simon via fbook. I wanted a half wall of panelling. Simon came prior to the day the job was done and did the measurements. He drew an idea of what I was looking for The day the job was done he arrived in time, carried out the work and once finished left my room completely clean and tidy. Simon and Kai built and installed oak veneered cabinets and shelving in our living room alcoves. They were professional and courteous, very knowledgeable and skilled craftsmen. We are absolutely thrilled with the work they have done and our living room looks fabulous!! Their attention to detail is second to none and our Victorian home provided quite a challenge at times, but our wonky walls were no problem for them. Highly recommend for professional and friendly service. Simon and his partner did an excellent job fitting our laminate flooring which had its fair share of awkward challenges. Both Simon and Kai did an amazing job! We had new decking supplied and fitted with an in built pergola. Initially our plan was to do the work ourselves and we just wanted some advice. Simon came round to measure and give that advice and we realised this was a job we wouldnt be able to tackle ourselves. Simon then quoted us a price that was unbeatable and we couldnt say no. The whole installation was quick and professional and we are over the moon with the end result. The whole job only took 5 days and Simon was a perfectionist. If the wood wasnt up to his standard he returned it to the supplier and replaced it before fitting. Both Simon and Kai were friendly and approachable. Questions we had were answered throughout, including after the work was completed. Wed 100% highly recommend Gilbey Carpentry and would definitely use them again in the future.
