Excellent! First rate, huge range of items to see and the volunteers have a wealth of knowledge they are more than happy to share. During our visit we were exceptionally lucky to have a Spitfire fly past. A real gem of a place to visit.

Even if planes are not your thing it's still worth a visit. There is alot more here than it appears when you drive through the entrance or as you pass by , its deceiving. You could easily spend 2 hours here if your just curious or 4 hours if you like history going back to ww2. I wish I had allotted more time for our visit and best of all it's free so it only costs you your time. You can also donate if you wish but you are not pushed to do it, people donate to keep this place running and after our visit I wrote to my MP asking why it's not given funding considering what will happen to a part of our history which cannot be replaced and people died to give us our freedom while today we spend millions on tick box pleasantries

We've visited a couple of times and absolutely loved it here. The volunteers are fantastic, Ian gave my family and some friends a tour of the planes and he was absolutely incredible, especially with keeping the children's attention. The facilities are great and the cafe was a lovely surprise! Luckily we live locally so will enjoy many trips to the air museum in the future!
