Stayed here on Saturday, well my hubbie was in awe literally next to Air museum, which was free, lots of donation boxes, The pub was great very welcoming, staff very friendly, went out of their way, food was lovely, I had Fillet of sea bream with Crayfish and new potatoes, yummy, hubble had fish and chips ehu available.

First visit after the refurbishment and I have to say that the carvery was excellent. In fact I would say it was the best I can remember having. Normally if there is beef at a carvery it will be a cheaper cut, and cooked to death so the meat is crumbling to pieces and almost like stewing beef. Not so here; the beef was a high quality joint, nicely charred on the outside, and a beautiful dark pink inside, with no gristly bits whatsoever All the vegetables and accompaniments were likewise very nicely done. We rounded our meal off with almond bakewell pudding with custard which was also excellent Will definitely be coming back Highly recommended to all.
