Yoga at The Oaks Guildford

I have been doing yoga with Sarah for over 10 years now and it never ceases to amaze me how she makes each class totally unique. Her studio is an oasis of calm and tranquility where you can feel safe and nurtured under her expert guidance. Sarahs yoga style is gentle and restorative, yet strengthening and powerful, as well as inducing a deep sense of calm. The visualisation tools and breathing techniques she uses are extremely effective at opening and releasing areas of the body which may at first appear stiff or resistant, safely and mindfully. I can honestly say that I have found Sarahs classes totally life changing for my body and soul and I feel lucky to know her.

For the last nine years, Sarah's yoga class has been an oasis of tranquility, and my weekly sanctuary from life's ups and downs. The studio and surroundings are beautifully relaxing but more importantly, Sarah creates a calm nurturing environment where you can let go of everything and just be with yourself. She expertly guides you to tune in to your own body's needs, both physical and emotional, so the class feels like it is designed just for you. I have been attending Sarah's yoga classes for almost 10 years now, and in that time I have learnt to adopt a more mindful approach to every day life. Listening to my body, understanding how or why things may seem out of sync, adopting a better approach in the way I move. Continued yoga practice has naturally leant me towards a healthier way of living overall. I have been going to Sarah Church - Yoga at The Oaks for over 7 years. When I started my movements were quite restricted but over time I have become increasingly flexible. Due to Sarah's skill, I continue to feel the benefits whether it's "in person" yoga or online. I feel improvements both psychologically and physically and am quite disappointed if I have to miss a session. When in a small class Sarah manages to both demonstrate and keep an eye on each member of the class so that sessions remain tailored to the individuals present.
