Reading prior reviews I can only imagine this place is under new ownership. Outside was tired, garden and furniture scruffy. Inside tables were sticky. We stood for quite a while at the bar before being acknowledged. Roasts were almost inedible (chewy meat and broccoli overcooked until it was grey). Rest of the food was just OK (there were 17 of us). Would not return.

Had scampi, chips ,peas and salad. Very nice. Pleasant view overlooking River.Helpful staff...worth a visit.
