Three Lights

Edit- Nic is a liar. We were not told the wait on food before we ordered- we asked after 1 hour of waiting and were told 'I don't know, maybe another half an hour' No one was aggressive apart from the manager who thought it was OK to slat a bill on our table and demand payment, after cancelling our order because we complained about the wait. The staff rude and snotty, as per other recent reviews. Also the table behind complained of cold food and the waiter laughed it off and did nothing. Also see Jack Moores review and Nics response. She also called him a liar when he said he had to wait an hour and half for food- that NEVER happens. Well I believe Jack because we also had to wait that long. Finally I wouldn't have left a Google review if the manager had of been willing to talk to us in a proper manner at the time, but she was too busy slatting bills around and being rude to everyone in there to do her job properly So great pub if you like rude liars ---- original post ---- We ordered food and were not made aware of any delays. We waited for an hour and asked about the food and were told another 30 minutes. We said we weren't happy and asked why we weren't told about the delay... the snotty sarcastic response from the bar maid was 'shall I just cancel your food then'. No apology, no good will offer. We didn't even agree to have the food cancelled but then got brought a bill for the drinks. Very rude and slow service.

Slow service and very rude. Seen comments back saying we were told about wait, but clearly multiple people are saying the same thing, also mulplie comments in last week about slow service and rude service, so think its clear that not multiple people are lying, and that in fact service was very slow and bad attitude from staff, so better to accept the issues than be in denial.

Waited for over an hour for food our table had been booked for 5 o clock. Was not very busy. Finally got food it was lukewarm chicken was rubbery and hard to cut. Burger was too. Staff replied that they had a chef that has been off for 2 weeks ? No excuse at all Terrible !! Other people were very unhappy and was spoken to rudely by staff. Wouldnt have been too bad if we had been told there was going to be a wait and if the food had come and was hot and not rubbery. Wont be going again thats for sure When you have tables booked you should know how many people to expect especially on a bank holiday too. Also had to ask twice where our drinks were. Overall 0 out of 10 for that

Absolutely run by a very rude person we visted on monday 1st may 2023 booked a table for 5.30 wasn't told there was a wait for food getting to a hour later still no food so went to ask and told it would be another half hour , shouldnt have to wait that long for food when the pub was quiet So she turned around to us and said ive cancelled your food order and then produced a bill for the drinks i said I'm not paying for them as they were part of the meal and i didnt just come in for drinks if youve cancelled my food order then cancel the drinks order also as we only drank a small amount of the drinks tying to make them last for when the food arrived so we walked out would not recommend this pub would give no star rating but that wasn't available. Will be reporting this matter furtherAlso the people sitting behind us also when asked if everything was OK they said their food was not warm they just got a shoulder shun from the waitress and then she walked off, rude again dont you think .Thanks for replying to my review (not)nicola thats you being rude again but then i notice you only reply to 5 star reviews
