I hereby award Manor Road Snack Bar the official Daz Baylo seal of approval. For those of you who may not have heard of the "Daz Baylo Seal of Approval" this is to be expected as so few have ever been awarded, this of it as a royal warrant, michellin star & nobel peace prize all in one, a true honour indeed. The chefs were kind enough to make me an item not on the menu (A sign they are true artisans who cannot be held down by such things as a rigid menu). I first sampled an egg and hash brown butty, which was cooked to perfection. I have tried to recreate this myself at home and whilst good, it was never as good as at Manor Road Snack Bar. For my second plate I sampled a cheese and bean toastie with a portion of chips. All were cooked fresh to order and promptly served to me at the pleasant seating area to the front of the premises. Again, this item was simply delicious. The staff here were all super friendly and had brilliant banter, I stayed in for around an hour, ate a few plates and a few cans of coke and had a jolly good time. Having travelled to the area from London, my only regret is that I am not able to visit more often - especially considering the excellent prices. Top work Manor Road Snack Bar - Full marks and a Daz Baylo Seal of Approval.
