Lovely food and good service, but my roast beef was very thin slices, and there were only 2 slices. I'm not sure it was worth the money. I did see other tables had much bigger slices, so maybe it was just my bad luck.

I had the duck liver parfait which was really nice but there was only one thin slice of toasted white bread it would be better with a nice artisan bread. The main course I had brick lane grilled tiger prawn curry which had a lovely flavour but unfortunately only had one grilled prawn on top and I couldn't find any more inside. But saying that I will definitely be back to give them another chance.

I have been to the Exchequer a lot over the years and although the pub is still very nice and the service excellent the food however has taken a downturn in quality and has gone up way to much in price and don't get me started on the wine 47 for a bottle of very mediocre rose' so I was disappointed.
