My father has been a resident in the home for 9 months now. It was a difficult decision to place him in care but the right one. All the staff have been so supportive in welcoming my father, helping him adjust and guiding family through the transition. My father is very settled, happy and well looked after. His memory will never improve but hes very safe and content and thats what matters. Thank you Freelands. I would certainly recommend this home for your loved ones.

The staff care about the residents and have looked after my mum for the last 5 months in very difficult and challenging times with covid but despite that they have continued to smile and be courteous and helpful to visitors. The care staff genuinely care about their residents and look after them as if they were their own family members

As a daughter of one of the residents I only want the best care for my lovely mum. Every aspect of care is covered at Freelands Croft. From the amazing nurses and healthcare professionals, catering , laundry, and all the admin staff working tirelessly behind the scenes. I can't thank you all enough.

My aunt is a current resident, paid for by the NHS with she recovers . I book a visit I ask if I need to give a phone number they said no . I driver over 3 hours to be told closed due to Covid scare , and that all residents had been told and also next of kin e-mail both where lies , is it not the duty of care to make sure the carer user & their next of kin informed . I also have to add this happened in March 2022 when petrol costs over 1.70 in places so not a cheap driver to than just phone my aunt to tell her why I could not visit !! ( and thats when she found out there was an issue !)

Nice place to spend your last years. My mum stayed and past away here. The staff are good helpful and friendly. Considering the circumstances many folks dont want to be in a care home but most need all round care and its a tough and difficult situation but the staff try deal with this well. Theirs good activities and excellent catering. The grounds are nice to with lots of flowers and birds in summer. Thanks for all the support you provided. Miss you mum
