I have had my share of issues with chl and totally hated this company but I have to say in the last few months there has been a change. Friendly understanding staff is definitely an improvement. I used to dread dealing with chl but I owe them an apology and the new friendly understanding approach makes me think they are a company trust

An awful business! The online information doesn't align with there telephone automated messages. Slow at responding to emails (5+ working days). They make it difficult to pay off your mortgage, and why you may ask?! because by each day they delay you the more money they make from your interest payments. When asked if the interest would be back dated from the date they took receipt of my money, they said no. Like a pervious persons review they are only interested in repossessions where they can make more money. Just call the telephone number and have a listen.

Awful company. Make up rules.. Poor customer service. Complaints procedure is a diagrace.

Worst mortgage lender I've ever come across Avoid this company they were chasing me how I'm going to pay few years back now they are charging extra interest they are making you really suffer in paying it off

Horribly bureaucratic. Tried to pay money off the small amount outstanding on my mortgage and they wanted proof of sources of funds. Why would I want to launder money by paying off a mortgage!
