A Christmas escape - with a Christmas tree put up too. A lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and spacious. This was the perfect, longed for time spent with close family and it didn't fail to hit all the correct buttons. Set in a beautiful location close to the glorious coastline. With shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

Most of us go on holiday with the aim of resting and have quality time with friends and family. However we found budget mattresses very firm and uncomfortable and combined with Polyester duvet made for uncomfortable nights. House is a few meters from the road. Vehicles passing about every 15 min during the night Kept window shut because of air Pollution. Cold white Led light bulbs throughout. Sofa comfortable for most but less so if tall. Two small grey cushions in the lounge. Thin old cotton towels. No soap for washing hands, a simple bar would be fine. Good points. TV worked OK, standard resolution. WiFi speed test 37mbps down load and ping 21ms. Off road parking. Coop shop nearby. Large rooms and house clean. Nearby activities: Once away from main road, nice walk through the woods and then down to the sea

We have just enjoyed a weeks stay at April Cottage. Flamborough is a fabulous little village and April Cottage is the perfect place to explore it from. It is within walking distance of the local pubs, fish & chip shops and the Co-op, and also from the coastal path via Danes Dyke. We went on holiday with our dog and enjoyed lots of walks down to Danes Dyke and along the coastal path to South Landing and Flamborough Head. I love running and had a couple of really lovely runs out from the cottage. The cottage itself was lovely and clean on arrival, and has really comfy beds (so important!). We took two teens and they were delighted to have a double bed each! All in all, a wonderful holiday in a lovely cottage in a fabulous location. I honestly couldnt fault it!
