Very friendly staff. We had steak and ale pie with mixed veg and mashed potatoes. Excellent food and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Good choice of beers. We will be returning.

I can't believe how rude that the landlord was to reply to a previous comment of 'WE'RE NOT TOBY CAVERY' just because as a customer a comment was made. To tell you the truth I like Toby carvery at least you get more food for the price which is only 11. Also you don't have other party members eating from the same bowl of vegetables for 3 people. Also outrageous that we should be charged a 5 service charge on top of our expensive meal which was not great. Surely you have to let customers aware somewhere on the premise that this is applied to the final bill of 10%.
