I was in London for a few weeks for work, and I didnt want to lose my workout continuity. Good thing James was open to working with me even for a short period of time. He asked for my typical workout schedule to have a better understanding of what I wanted out of my sessions. After seeing how I moved and doing a bit of homework on my type of workouts, his sessions for me were on point. I felt good every time we finish a session. Plus, hes also a great coach. Always checking to see if youre okay, pushing you slightly and nicely to see what you could do. He also breaks down the instructions really well. Even with the most technical workouts, he can break it down so well that you can do the workout technically well. Doing a clean, for example, is one of the more complicated workouts, but he explained that so well to me. Definitely when Im back in London, Ill be working with him again.

I have been working with James for about a year to rehab my knee after an operation. James sessions are always varied and he tailors them to how my knee is feeling on the day. I have seen great improvement and I would highly recommend him.

James is really able to get you to push yourself while at the same time being very friendly and reassuring. As a knowledgeable and personable trainer, Id highly recommend him to beginners or experienced athletes alike!

I started training with James 10 months ago having never properly been to the gym before. Due to my anxiety and lack of self confidence, I exclusively worked out at home. James was so understanding from the start, and looking back its amazing how much my confidence (and strength) has grown in less than a year. He teaches you to approach exercise in a fun yet challenging and informed way, and completely changed my perception of both working out and my bodys abilities. If you have a question, hell know the answer. And if you want to learn something, hell teach it to you in a safe and personalised way. Initial ability, confidence, medications, injuries and anything else that may feel like a barrier become challenges which James teaches you to overcome. I feel far healthier, stronger and more confident since starting sessions, and on top of all this hes just an all round nice guy. Thank you James!
