Shelter Charity Shop (Holloway Road)

One of the first charity shops I visited in London and loved it! I arrived in London from Melbourne winter, somehow packed in a hurry and only packed winter clothes, arrived in summer London, not expecting to be that hot, so went looking for some quick solutions without breaking my travelling budget ;) found this place, staff was super friendly, found some great gems for amazing prices, summer in London sorted, thank you Shelter! :)

Man on till at 11:10am 04/01/2023 was not very good at all. My 1 item took about 10 minutes to ring up and in the end me and another customer ended up walking them through the till despite never working on it. Once I paid no change was given until I told him the exact amount due. I have a receipt of my purchase and the item in question, an orienteering compass if the shop manager would like them back or the incorrect information and henceforth price paid was conducted.

Friendly and helpful staff. Small shop but neat and easy to browse. Good prices on books.

Took some donations here and the woman was so warm and welcoming. The shop is set out really well too with clothes arranged by colour.
