        I went to the Library on Sat 6th Aug to get information about Finedon. The woman who helped me went beyond the call of duty to give me ideas, maps and a tour leaflet. Later, when I'd done the tour, she and her colleague gave me a drink and a place to eat lunch and we chatted. It really made a difference to my day and to my view of Finedon. Thank you so much ladies. You went the extra mile!

        Small library housed in a building built in 1868. Was threatened with closure when under control of the old Northamptonshire County Council. Now its a Community Library. It may be small, but at least the village has got one.
