Nice friendly staff. Nice food. But so much noise in the eating area, it was hard to have a conversation. Some soft furnishings are needed. Maybe move the coffee machine into another room.

Cafe staff are militant about the soft play which would be almost hilarious if it wasnt involving small kids. On ordering food every dish I ordered they told me we couldnt eat in the soft play and each time I replied I know we are eating outside. They wont give you the code to access the soft play after youve paid and guard it like a state secret. You have to find a non busy staff member to let you in each time. It was empty bar my one 4yo and a little one came in 3 mins early for her session and was promptly shooed out by a member of staff. It all felt very over the top for literally a small bit of soft play which is often free in other venues. The garden centre itself is a mixed bag. Not that many plants, a reptile shop, a solicitors, a clothes shop, bit of furniture and some knickknacks. Absolutely roasting in the summer as its essentially a greenhouse roof! The food is ok, bit overpriced as per garden centres, staff could definitely be a bit friendlier!

Great garden centre with quality plants and some different items from your average garden centre.

As a local person keen on gardening I had used the centre fairly regularly when it was Wyevale and been happy with it. However it has really gone downhill. It seems to be mainly focussed on the cafe and play area rather than on plants and gardening items. On one occasion we tried to return a faulty item they refused to refund us due to a policyholder of not giving refunds after 1 month. ( it was about 2 months old and starting to disintegrate). Despite me reiterating that the item was faulty, the manager was really unhelpful, just repeating that it was policy not to refund. I now drive to other centres rather than use this one even though I live less than a mile away.
