Harrys Hair Finchley Central - think twice before using their services. Not a responsible hairdresser. Today I visited this hair salon. I gave them clear instructions to colour my hair (mixing 2/3 of one colour with 1/3 of a darker shade). I have been using the same colour for over a year. When finished, it was SO much darker (hence would not match my expensive extensions).. so I asked what they had mixed and they said that they mixed it 2/3:1/3 at first, but then ran out & when they made up a 2nd batch, they mixed 1/2:1/2. ??!!!???!! But why?? I asked.. When I asked why, all I got was I dont know. Even then, I didnt fuss. People make mistakes I thought it better just to try to solve the problem. I suggested they either fix it or return my money so I could ask another salon to try to fix it. They refused and just kept saying sorry darling, my boss doesnt know why he did it. But they refused to do anything without ANY reason. Anyway, I will rectify it, but I just wanted to warn my neighbours. Definitely not to be trusted. Never in my whole life have I seen a hairdresser refuse to fix something that could so easily be fixed with minimal time and effort on their part. Quite disappointing and shameful on their part. For a local salon, its not how you grow a business. Now I know why its competitor down the road is always full!

After not being to happy with my last cut at another salon I walked in today hoping for a cut and blow dry. They fit me in and were lovely. I really liked that they took their time, listened to what I wanted and I feel much happier with my cut. Not a talker as I just want to turn off and relax when having my hair done. Yet, loads of chit chat around me so I'm sure the conversation would have flowed if I wanted. Very sorry for not getting the name of the woman who shampooed my hair nor the man who cut my hair. Thanks very much for fitting me in and cheering me up on a miserable Friday morning.
