I have recently joined Mountfield Surgery and I am actually impressed with how the practice is run. I find reception staff to be efficient, helpful, respectful and caring. Ok, maybe on one occasion I felt like the receptionist was telling me off but it was more of a tough love response. Receptionists are highly responsive, its easy to book an appointment, walk in clinic in the morning and face to face appointments. Ive seen a couple of Doctors and they are amazing, helpful, they listen, investigate your health concerns. Today I had a consultation with Dr Keane, felt like Im in the right hands, I felt heard, seen, hes also comforting and lifts the mood:)Holistic approach. Thank you Mountfield Surgery for your hard work and dedication.

Hands down the best surgery in the area! After having moved from another surgery in Finchley a few years back, my family and I have always been grateful for the speed at which we are seen and the responsiveness from doctors in terms of follow up investigations and referral. I hear so many stories from friends who are unable to get appointments at their GPs for their sick children, so really count myself lucky to have such accessible health care.... If only more surgeries were run like this!

I left this surgery approximately 3yrs ago the first doctor I saw was a lovely woman and got me help with vocal palsy quickly I then had to see the nurse who again was lovely as I was a new patient I needed a prescription for pain relief i had been given an alternative one but it didnt touch the sides so I explained to the nurse to give me my old prescription from my last doctor as they really helped with pain she wasnt able to prescribe until she spoke to dr Keane he came into the room to see me what happened next was a total shock to both myself and the nurse he started screaming at me saying that he wont prescribe me dyhydracodeine as its addictive when I tried to explain that it was the only thing that helped he became very aggressive and didnt allow me to speak even the nurse was telling him to leave the room and that his behaviour would be addressed in a meeting I was so visibly shaken by this abuse as I have been a victim of abuse by an Irishman the same as that doctor when I left to go home not one single person bothered to call me to see how I was or to offer an apology how on earth does this man call himself a doctor is beyond me this bullying behaviour is not exceptable let alone towards a woman I immediately left that practice as I didnt feel safe
