After 18 months of stress I gave up arguing with them over it all as whenever they sent a trade round to sort something out half a job would be done (eg regrout some rooms but not others), something would get damaged further or corners would be cut. Penny pinching at every step. Zero co-ordination or care about sorting the issues out.
Additionally when we bought the house we were assured the field behind us would he cleared. It turns out that the person who owns the field is a scrap metal dealer so the field has never, and will never, be cleared which takes about 50,000 off the value of the house. Check out the delightful view out my sons window...
Never again.
