Fab hotel! Will definitely return! Myself and 2 friends have just got back from a 2 night stay at the Four Seasons hotel. What a brilliant time we've had! The room was clean and decorated to a high standard. The hotel is situated just a short walk from the beach and has free parking outside. Our host was very welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast each morning and there is also a continental breakfast which you can help yourself to. We walked to Filey Brigg on our second day which we would highly recommend on a dry day. We managed to take lots of beautiful photos of the coast line and cliff edge. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and we hope we will be back one day in the not so distant future.

Gorgeous hotel, had a wonderful stay for two nights. Our room on the top floor was wonderful, bed really comfortable. Only niggles were not being informed before our stay that the restaurant wouldnt be open (totally understandable February mid week) and the toiletries basic, not up to a Boutique hotel standard. Staff were amazing and extremely friendly.

This hotel is very much about style over substance. On first entering the hotel is as described, as are the rooms. However on closer inspection the rooms, decor, finishings etc do not come up to the expected standard for a 5 start rated accommodation. Just a few issues we noted in our room was paintwork that was chipped and flaking (wear and tear not by design) wallpaper starting to peel, bathroom door not fitting properly unless closed quite forcefully. Bed so low that as older adults we struggled to get up from it and the mattress was way to soft, no support. We stayed for 2 days over the October half term, on both evenings the advertised bar and restaurant were closed, the restaurant only opening for breakfast. The heating was switched on for a very short period of time once during our stay, radiators were barely aired throughout the hotel. The breakfast other reviewers have raved about was of an acceptable standard, although my poached egg was just about warm. The only good things to say about this hotel is the staff are attentive, thoughtful and welcoming and the location is good.

The room was nice and comfortable but when we arrived there was no heating in the room. We mentioned this after we had checked in and were informed this would be sorted. 3 hrs later we mentioned it again, still not addressed. At 11pm there was still no heating in the room. No staff available to discuss, very poor customer services. Lucky to receive 2review
