The Bay Filey

Great stay for the dog, beach, and cliff walk within easy reach. Facilities on site pub, shop,pharmacy,cafe,amuzments, and a swimming pool with a sauna. Lots of nature around very easy place to chill out and relax. Walkability: Can be on the beach in 25 minutes. Woodland walk that leads to a nice cafe and to another opening for the beach.

Looking at the reviews on here we must have drawn the short straw - shockingly maintained cottage that was in no way superior as it claimed. Dirty crockery, paint peeling off the wall in several places, ancient garden furniture, wobbly bunk beds, rubbish outside and an absolutely freezing swimming pool that had been that way for a while due to a broken boiler ( and which no one tells you about before you put your cossies on for a swim). And no cash point on site or cash back offered so the arcade with the kids wasnt much fun. And a highly antagonistic manager who when we complained had no solutions and was not particularly pleasant. Beautiful location and the pub and their staff are great but I definitely wouldnt go back or recommend.
