Our experience with this Organization also terrible. The host-families are not suitable to host students. In one of the family the mother was constantly abusing her son and my daughter had to listen to it every!!!! single night. In the other one she had no key, and was not allowed to be in the house alone. She spent 6 hours on the street, waiting for them to come home. The local coordinator did not care at all and told many lies to the german Organization and was no help to my daughter at no time. She also has no qualification to do this job. She had no clue how to deal with problems, how to communicate and how to solve problem. "Bringing great students, families and schools together" is a big joke. (website slogan) It just not works in SEE. The owner will probably reply that all was my daughters fault and try to explain the situation. But the point is, the policy of this Organization is similar to a bootcamp and heartless. I recommend strongly to avoid this Organization, and ask the home Organization whether they are working with SEE.
