Night Pastures camping is a real find! As many reviewers have already said, the fields are really spaced out and it feels like you're in your own little world. The staff are great and super helpful. I loved the whole set up including the outdoor kitchen, and compost loos. The outdoor shower was one of the nicest experiences I've ever had. It's nature at its finest! I really appreciated the fact that as 2 adults, there was a separation between fields. Also loved the bluebell woods - at this time of year it was beautiful.

Top site. I was looking for a quick 2 day budget-friendly camping break, and was so happy that I found Night Pastures. The site is large and has many shower/toilet/washing-up facilities that were kept nice and clean. I also found the composting toilets to be much nicer to use than porta-potties, especially in the heat. The small site shop was open for a few hours each day - selling firewood and renting fire pits which was a great option to have. The lady in the shop was extremely friendly, and recommended a good local walk up to a cracking viewpoint. The site has great access to the South Downs National Park. The site is in a nice quiet location, and is close enough to Fernhurst to pick up essentials, with Haselmere a short drive away for larger supermarkets. It looked well organised to separate the family camping and adult camping areas. I didn't stay in the pre-pitched tents, but they looked like a good choice too if that's your kind of thing. Will definitely be coming back.
