The three of us stopped for lunch earlier. We ordered nachos, macaroni and cheese, chicken wrap and a bacon cheeseburger with chips along with some drinks. The nachos were the most interesting ones weve seen, which may be why theyre referred to as homemade. The macaroni and cheese came out in a small dish which was about 3 table spoons full. We queried the size as it was down as an adults meal. More was cooked and this time came out in a small bowl with about 3-4 table spoons full. Was never enough or suitable to be considered a main meal. The bread of the chicken wrap was burnt on one side which took a bit of scraping and dodging in order to enjoy. Weve been to many Hungry Horse restaurants in the past and primarily frequent The Gloster, which is a much more pleasant, nicer and better experience. You get what you pay for there. Because of the experience we faced today, we will not be returning back to the New Inn.
