The new lunch menu is varied and catered for a vegetarian, a food allergy and a hungry tummy. The sharing starter and nibbles came quickly and the drinks have a good variety or no and low alcohol now.
The main fish pie is big food and lamb well proportioned and tasty. The side or braised lettuce was bit overdone.
Puddings have a decent selection and our bill for 3 courses and drinks 134.
Service is Dorset friendly and just enough. Its a good pub with clean loos and big car park.liked it and going back.

April 2023: Still a cashless pub; but the cask ales were in top form.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
The chips are probably the best pub chips that I have ever tasted
If you are a dog owner, this pub is dog friendly.
