This place is a joke! We booked a table for Easter Lunch 3 weeks in advance. Upon our arrival we were informed that they gave the table to somebody else "we're sorry". There was a big sign outside saying that "we are under staffed, and the food will take longer than usual" - thank you for this! That's why you were charging a premium price for the Easter Lunch menu? Our starters came out cold and incomplete - the sides were missing. There was a lack of choice when it came to spirit brands as well. The mains weren't any better! We decided to leave early. The cherry on top was the parking fine that came a week later through our letter box, informing us that we parked on private property? Really that's why I gave you my registration number when I booked? Or did the other people at our table get one as well? Really lousy service! Shame on you! In this current climate in which people are struggling to make ends meat, you destroyed one of the rare occasions on which we can afford to eat out! Won't be coming here again and I advice everyone to stay away! There are much better places all around the area and Dorset that are more than happy to get customers through their doors!

You definitely need to book as they were turning people away at the door because they only had one chef. I had a roast with turkey beef and pork. There was one carrot one parsnip lots of peas and a few bits of broccoli quite a few roast potatoes and a giant Yorkshire pudding. I couldnt really tell the difference between the pork and the beef! It was nice enough. We had to ask for extra gravy and mustard tho..the waiting staff were v attentive and helpful but very rushed off their feet. We used Tesco vouchers for the food. .the pudding I wanted was out of stock.
