Come and Fine Dine Dorset

The second time we have used Steven at Come and Fine Dine and were still super impressed. This time, we hired Steven to cater a family BBQ for my husbands birthday. Steven is very accommodating with the menu options and helps come up with ideas that go together. Superb communication up to the date and on the day itself. Steven arrived early to set things up and finish cooking. We had a range of canaps - which I could quite happily have eaten all day! The best bruschetta I have ever tasted; mozzarella and tomato kebabs and salmon/dill cream bites. Yum! The BBQ itself was amazing - beautiful beef burgers; pork and pork/apple sausages which were delicious; succulent chicken and halloumi. Served with a wide array of gorgeous accompaniments including potato salad; homemade coleslaw; tabouleh salad and the best salsa verde - and Steven was right; it really finished off the burger. Dessert was a Pimms cheesecake with special touches for the birthday boy. No hesitation in recommending Steven.

Steven was great from start to finish. Superb to work with to design a menu for our intimate wedding celebration. Had his own ideas and listened to ours. Great communication leading up to the day itself. Steven was really friendly and, oh my, the food! I could have just eaten all the canaps let alone the actual meal! A choice of starters for our small group of 9 - the scallops with crispy prosciutto were divine; pate equally delicious. Our main of lamb shank literally fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. Rounded off with the most perfect chocolate fondant with a special personal touch for our wedding. Superb! Steven and his server were friendly and chatty without being intrusive and left the kitchen tidier than we gave it to them! A very talented and personable chef who I would very highly recommend. Steven catered a 3-course meal for 12 people for my 40th Birthday. From the start he was quick to respond to my queries and was able to offer up options for the dinner to suit everyone. On the day he arrived on time and dinner was served at the time specified. The dinner was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and the special touch in my dessert was very thoughtful. I would highly recommend Steven and his catering service. He was extremely professional, courteous and took real care in ensuring the evening went smoothly. Thanks Steven for making my birthday just that extra bit special!
