Dorset Bar Hire

We booked Dorset Bar Hire for our wedding in July 2021. At the time of booking they confirmed in an email If there are any changes due to COVID you will be fullyrefunded, or we can change the date e.t.c. So I paid 125 at the time of booking. Due to government restrictions the wedding was not able to go ahead as planned, so I emailed Dorset Bar Hire 4 weeks before to advise them I needed to cancel. They did not respond. I called and emailed countless times. I continued to chase them and after 2 months of trying, Austyn (Customer Service Team) finally rang us. He refused to give us a refund, told us to sue him if we wanted to, and ended the call by telling my husband to F*** Off. Appalling customer service. Id give them zero stars if I could.

Went to a wedding over the weekend where they had set up, and they were brilliant! Catered superbly and the staff were excellent and friendly. Good selection of drinks and fair prices. Plus being able to pay with chip & pin in the middle of nowhere was a huge help! Only downside was that they packed up before we had passed out

Recently attended a wedding reception where DBH were hired. They offered great service, so I decided to hire them for a party I was throwing. Im so glad I did. Thanks again to all that worked Jacksons 25th birthday party. Will defiantly use you again!

We booked this bar in 2020 for our wedding in 2021. They were very quick at coming back and taking a deposit. After that communication was extremely poor. I left several emails and phone calls before I got a response 4 weeks before our wedding day to try and arrange final details. During that call I was told they had our wedding down as the Sunday, they didn't know about staffing levels and couldn't really give me a set up time because our wedding was on bank holiday weekend and they wouldn't know about traffic. I was then told they would call me 2 weeks before the wedding as they would hopefully have final plans then. Guess what?! No call. I emailed to say how disappointed we were with the lack of service and how stressed it had left me having to make new arrangements for a bar 2 weeks before the day and still I had and have had no response from them. As far getting our deposit back, impossible. Avoid them at all costs!
