AWFUL- AVOID. I dont usually write reviews but the rudeness of the guy behind the bar has motivated me to do so. My friend bought a pint which was off and he asked for it to be changed, the guy got aggressive and defensive and had to be negotiated with to get a different drink in exchange. Totally bizarre, total lack of customer service skills and seemed just angry to have people come into a totally dead bar. Dont go

I've been walking past Laryn Cafe Bar for years, always busy, on my way to Clapham High Street or Brixton. But I love Eritrean food and my usual place is too far to just pop in. It was a lovely meal, we had the mixed platter, spinach, chickpeas and lamb. Owner was super friendly and chatted us through the menu. Good tunes. Big portions. We'll definitely be back!

I have been to this place many times. I came in earlier tonight and ordered two drinks. It was quiet so I asked for two plastics so my friend and I could walk home. My plastic glass was cracked so my beer which was leaking. I asked for another glass and if the gentleman could top up what had leaked and he dismissed me and kicked me out. He could have just given me a fresh plastic and literally topped up a finger of a pint. For the amount I paid and the fact Ive been there before, this was disappointing and I will not go back.
