        It was ok...a waffle topped with vanilla icecream with a chocolate bar was ordered, along with the strawberry toffee waffle.. taste was ok..The toffee sauce was oh so little on the waffle and the chocolate sauce had a taste of Nutella. Overall, it was meh ok !

        I fancied an ice cream this evening, despite the cold weather, and as I'd never visited here before and the sign 'Gelato' made me think it might be good I thought I'd give it a go. How much is a scoop, I asked. 2.75 the guy behind the counter replied. It seemed a lot for just one scoop, but I had set my mind on getting one. I chose Pistacchio in a cone to take away and went to pay, handing over 3 to a different man. He said it's 3.25 and waved a board at me that said in small letters that it was 50p for the cone (which was tiny and the ball of ice cream was balanced precariously across the top). I don't know how many people carry ice cream away in their hands but this was a first for me. After some argument he agreed not to charge me for the cone and gave me 50p change after I said I wouldn't come here again. That there was negligible pistacchio flavour in the ice cream is a second reason why I don't think I'll be darkening their doorstep again.
