After my mother's passing, I was looking for a Funeral Director, and I had a tight schedule because a family member could only come a few days from abroad. I contacted a few, went round a few, and each time I was feeling frustrated and more and more depressed. Some were rude, others were just insisting on the money aspects, quoting me very high prices before they could consider dealing with me further. I phoned Personal Touch just before they were closing for the day, explained briefly what I wanted, but then was told that they will call me back the following day due to the lateness of the hour. I did like the way they were speaking to me on the phone, it was with a caring attitude which contrasted with the others. The following day, after I spoke to more companies, they called me and invited me to talk further at their office. Again, I was pleasantly reassured with the tone of voice, after the bruising experiences I had with others. I met Pauline at the office, she immediately made a very good impression on me, with her willingness to help me, and work around my schedule. I felt that she was caring about me and my family, which was extremely welcomed in this time of grief. By that time, I was feeling quite desperate, wondering how I could manage to organise everything, yet alone in time. Pauline helped me take off the massive weight on my shoulders. Pauline and her team went above and beyond to personalise their services to fit our family needs. Every little detail was taken care of by Pauline from the beginning. She did the most heartfelt collage of photos and quotes that celebrated what was unique about my mother. The eulogy speech was beautifully worded. We had the most beautiful and heartfelt funeral for our mother. My brother, my sister and myself are eternally grateful to Personal Touch Services. No words can express our gratitude to Pauline and her team, for helping guide us through the tragedy of our mother's passing into a state of peace and comfort. Personal Touch Funeral Planning Services are an affordable, loving and caring professional service, from the first phone call and throughout the whole process. I don't know what I would have done without them. I highly recommend their services.

Used Personal Touch for my dads funeral in January 2023. Pauline and her team really made things easy for me as I was heavily pregnant with just 10 days to go until giving birth from the funeral date as well as being the sole person organising and funding the funeral. I had done a bit of shopping around with other directors, was given extremely high quotes and a lot of missed informed information. After contacting Pauline regarding my dads funeral, she corrected me on prices and basically walked me through correctly on what to expect from planning to the funeral day, I really also loved the fact that they are a black owned funeral directors which to me is rare and Im all for supporting black owned businesses. My dad died 12/12/2022 so Christmas and new years was literally around the corner and organising was tight but Pauline and staff, they got everything done. Pauline really made me feel welcomed and till this day and in the future I dont think Ill ever forget her nor forget how much she put my mind at ease. For on the day of the funeral I opted to have a celebrant instead of a priest as my dad wasnt strict on religion. Pauline was his celebrant and she done an excellent job his service was so unique. Thank was very pleased with the day, had glitch which is to be expected but overall I would highly recommend. Pauline Id like to thank you for your service, thank you for being so inviting and for being you. A strong bold woman in your industry.

Unfortunately I have been in the position for Paulines services a few times over the last few years. There are no words to say how grateful I am to this woman and her professional services, the guidance through the minefield it is when planning a funeral. The things you never even thought of Pauline made everything so simple.. when I lost my husband and soulmate 2 years ago I was distraught I knew exactly what I wanted as after a long illness I had had a long time to think about things and actually discussed with my husband prior to his passing. I must of been a nightmare as the finest detail HAD to be how I wanted it all during Covid! Pauline delivered everything perfectly. This woman was exactly what I needed at the worst time ever in my life! Thank you!!!!!!!

Pauline and her team made my beloved mum's homecoming less of a stress from start to finish. It really was a personal touch. Company was very attentive & had such patience, when I had to make a few additions for the Order of Service. The pall bearers were amazing. They even cut open all the bunches of flowers and laid them with wreaths, which made the process of laying arranging them on top of grave much quicker. Thank you from the Richards/Lloyd Family.
