Temple of Seitan

I went despite the bad reviews because I just really hoped Id get some good vegan fried chicken there. Well, Google reviews arent there for nothing. The wings werent crispy at all, too soft and moist and just soggy. The parm wings were so greasy I could collect the grease in my palms. The burger flavour was very off and also not crispy and the sauces were just awful, the sauces!! And its way too expensive. Please do yourself and favour and save your money and go to Halo Burger at Pop Brixton or do something else with you money. Unfortunately you will not get mediocre food there. This was a disaster.

Incomplete items and poor quality! I don't know what's happened as this used to be a favorite of mine, but the standards have severely slipped. Been going to temple of seitan for years but this branch sends out food that is not worth the money, not as advertised and not consistent with what has made other temple stores popular. Having had a few orders arrive with errors, missing parts of items and bland taste (macaroni cheese literally tasted like plain cooked pasta) cannot justify the cost anymore. A genuine shame as I was a big supporter of temple of seitan having left positive reviews in the past and recommending them many times. From the look of the food on arrival they just don't care because I don't see how someone could look at what I ordered on multiple occasions and think it is suitable to send out. A very reluctant yet deserved 1 star from me. I hope they return to their once high standards.

This place used to be amazing but we have just received a delivery via Uber eats and are shocked. The two piece is basically a flat piece of greasy breaded chicken. Nothing like it used to be. The popcorn chicken was square bites that were rubbery and tasted like tofu not seitan. Sadly wont be eating here again. There are better local vegan places like Halo burger or Owee Vega! Wouldnt recommend anymore at all.

Theyve changed the recipe and the food offered is now substandard. We ordered chips with toppings, which came completely burnt. The patties and chicken bites also had a burnt taste. Absolute pisstake given that this cost 37.
