Drakes Plumbing

We live in a C16 cottage where right angles are none existent. We have walls that move, goldfish bowl shaped floor, lime plaster and incredibly low ceilings. Oh, and any waste needs pumping out due to the levels all being out. We invited 3 local plumbers to discuss our bathroom ideas. Andy was the only plumber to take the time to really understand what we were looking for and gave considerable thought to making this a reality. He made some really useful suggestions and I'm really glad we had the sense to listen to him and be guided by his knowledge and expertise! Andy used a variety of suppliers that he had good relationships with to try and source the parts we we looking for and was happy to fit the more unusual bits we sourced ourself. Perhaps one of the most impressive feats he pulled off was getting a reputable manufacturer to make us a bespoke brushed brass enclosure, which ultimately ensuring the dream became a reality! He runs a tight ship! ....was always on time, and an added bonus, cheerful! He was also clean and tidy. His communication though-out was excellent. Even when I was faced with no heating, he coached me through the process of getting that going again on the phone which we were grateful for in sub zero temperatures! Because the work was not going to be straightforward an hourly rate was agreed and he worked really hard but thankfully always had time for lovely chats! (that we will really miss!) We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Andy and Drakes Plumbing. We have recommended him to friends and I know they have been equally delighted. Thank you Andy, we are so glad we found you and are hugely grateful you like a challenge and were more than up to the one we presented you with! Thank you so, so much for the work you did at my cottage. Everything is just perfect and I'm really pleased. The shower works better than it ever did, even when first installed 3 yrs or so ago. It's unbelievably difficult to get decent tradespeople to come and work at my house - it's old, and bodged up, parking is rubbish etc. I've had a few tradie's book in and not turn up, or turn up once or twice and don't finish the job, or finish it and it's really poorly done etc, so to have you come and do everything perfectly first time, and do it to time, and within quote a was an incredible relief and a real rarity. I would highly recommend Andy Drake, a very friendly and efficient professional plumber. Not only did replace our toilet,bath and shower he also project managed the total bathroom refurbishment including plastering,wall tiling and flooring. An excellent job,on time and good value for money. As a result we will be using Andy for future jobs and I am more than happy to recommend him. Services: Toilet installation, Shower installation
