I purchased a training lead for my Italian hound puppy. The extra length allows me to let her sniff around to her hearts content, whilst giving me full control and allowing me to retain good lead discipline. The use of braided polyester for the stitching was the main selling point as we live on the coast. Beautiful craftsmanship. Highly recommended.

I recently bought a collar and lead set for my little Border terrier x JRT, and could not recommend Awl by Hand highly enough. Absolutely superb customer service; Lyndsay was so helpful from start to finish. Great communications and very helpful suggestions - we made some changes to the standard design to make sure it wouldn't be too bulky for a small dog. The end result is absolutely gorgeous, exactly what I wanted: beautiful craftmanship, super quality materials and it looks great on my wee girl. Very reasonable price for the quality hand made product, and arrived quickly too. Thank you Lyndsay!

I was delighted to receive the collar and lead that Lyndsay made in a very quick timescale of less than a week. The turnaround was impressive, but it was the quality that really shone out. The wonderful quality leather and the beautiful workmanship were evident in each item and the finish is perfect. The quality represents excellent value for money. The little care package of some leather balm and care instructions are a nice touch.
