Sarah painted a beautiful illustrated map of Yetholm in the Scottish Borders in memory of my late wife Anne who sadly passed away in 2020. Sarah's artwork is unique and brings to life the joy of the countryside, its wildlife, the people and the history of Yetholm all of which my wife loved.

I first came across Sarah Farooqis artwork on a visit to Northumberland and liked it so much I bought a framed print, Keepers of Longstone. The deceptively simple style is actually very detailed, and her use of colour is lovely. I have since bought another print, Inner Farne Lighthouse by mail order, and Sarah was very helpful in my quest to obtain a frame matching the first one. Her pictures are all very attractive and led me to purchase her calendar for 2020 which is a good way to be able to admire several more of her pictures!

Sarah's art is warm and humorous and full of interesting little details. She produces beautiful colourful pictures of the highlights of Northumberland, as well as illustrated maps of areas further afield. These often include local wildlife, which is is one of Sarah's interests. She can also produce a personalised picture or map of your favorite place, house etc for a really special gift.
