I usually don't write reviews but my God this was the worst nail/customer experience I've ever had. My regular nail lady was off for ester weekend and I desperately needed to get my nails sorted by the weekend for an important meeting so I wanted to look presentable. I went in for a luxury mani & pedi for a discount price of 35 + 20 for shellac polish for both hand and feet. However the day before I called the owner said it's 15 but the next day I was overcharged which I didn't want to make fuss over couple of quid- as long they get the work done. The hygiene of the pedicure station was so poor! The pedicure itself was uncomfortable, basic, no massage or whatsoever. My manicure was done whilst I was in the pedicure chair so I had to keep moving my hands so she's comfortable instead. The towel that was used was dirty and the bowl that she used. The poor lady was doing what she can but she is not trained for all of these service. I can tell because I get my nails done regularly. When I got home I saw that she filed my feet so roughly that between the toes I had bled with skin tears. The nail painting itself took the most time as the lady was struggling. It looked horrible but I felt so awkward being in the shop and telling her but now I wish I did stop her then and walked out. I was staying positive and by this time I just couldn't get out the place. Loud music, staffs staring at you constantly, unhygienic place and I had already made a decision to never come to this place. I desperately needed my nails done for the next day. The shape of the nails are all different - at one point I filed all my nails myself in the shop as she struggled. I paid 55 over all! As soon as I got home the polish chipped off as she applied so much of thick layer. I wanted to cry because now the whole purpose of getting a presentable nail is down the drain including my money. I called the salon next day to which the staff gave me her boss number to contact her directly. Poor customer service again and making it difficult for us - people who paid for a service that you cannot even provide to meet a standard. The worst part was the phone went straight to voicemail. I called again in 15 mins (on my lunch break) and the boss immediately said there's no refund policy and when I told her I wont even come there for free let alone to get it done again for the same money. She asked me for photo evidence of both my hand and feet. I told her I have my hand pics but Im at work so I dont have feet pics she denied any refund for my feet so basically only 10 refund. I told her to keep the money as Ive never had to deal with such poor and rude service before. What a shocking attitude. Like a lot of people here I wanted to support my local business but unfit people who opens a business for business are ruining small businesses around the area. I dont blame the staff I blame the owner big time. I had my eyebrow done as well but it was only till I got home that there were hairs all over still so I used a tweezer to pull them out. So basically they cannot do anything properly and the way the salon is ran is just bizarre. What a horrible place. Services: Pedicure, Manicure
